What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator Float position at CYB Human Resources?
Summary / Objective
The main objective of the PCC Float is to assist with PCC duties and to cover all other offices when PCCs are out of office.
Essential Functions

As a Patient Care Coordinator Float the employee agrees to :
Travel between assigned locations as needed to support patient care and clinic operations.
Ensure all duties are performed with professionalism consistent quality and in compliance with company policies no different than in base office.
Maintain the availability and readiness to travel during scheduled working hours.
Along with all other normal PCC duties just like in any other office.
Greet and checkin patients upon arrival clean up and tidying up of the office.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system.
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
Coordinate referrals to specialists and followup appointments.
Assist with insurance verification and billing processes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office area.
Provide administrative support to healthcare providers.
This PCC Float position will be asked from time to time when not having to cover for another PCC to cover other office lines to perform tasks that can help other offices while they work in the Denver office.
Open and set up the clinic each day to ensure a smooth start.
Answer phone calls schedule appointments and assist patients with inquiries.
Verify insurance collect copays and process payments.
Call patients for appointment reminders followups and rescheduling as needed.
Communicate with pharmacies to process medication requests and resolve issues.
Assist providers with administrative tasks including documentation and patient coordination.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace including taking out trash and restocking supplies.
Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and staff.
This PCC Float position will be asked from time to time when not having to cover for another PCC to cover other office lines to perform tasks that can help other offices while they work in the Denver office.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- Less than one year.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
