What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applications Developer with Security Clearance position at Cyber Bat Inc?
Cloud DevOps Engineers help promote state-of-the-art IT solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and share lessons learned. This position will focus on creating and maintaining containers as well as enabling container deployments and implementations of serverless architectures within AWS. Additionally, we need our DevOps Engineer to be versatile and be enthusiastic to take on new problems. We believe that in addition to hiring great talent, a diversity of perspectives, ideas, and cultures leads to the creation of better products. The candidate must have detailed experience with AWS and all of its resources (or least its main ones EC2, S3, cloud formation stacks and RDS), as well as very familiar with Cloud formation scripts to create and maintain AWS resources. The candidate must also have experience with programming in an any Programming language, preferably in Ruby, Python, javascipt, Groovy or NodeJS. The candidate must have experience with using the AWS CDK in any of its supported languages : Ruby, Python, Java, NodeJS, etc. Java, C# experience would be nice, but it is not mandatory. However, this experience will be vital in helping the development teams utilize AWS correctly. This person must be willing to help in all cases as well as be familiar with architectural best practices. He / She will have experience with Jenkins and building Jenkins Pipelines using Groovy, Python and bash shell scripts. Qualifications
- Object Oriented Programming experience
- Experience with AWS (e.g., CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, and ElasticSearch)
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., RDS, Oracle, Postgres) MySQL
- Experience in continuous integration technology (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab / GitHub)
- Experience with interacting in a Linux environment (ex - Bash scripting)
- Experience with Jenkins and creating Jenkins Pipelines while having and understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices
- BS / BA in Computer Science OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Groovy or bash shell scripting Requires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have deep knowledge of project management. Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems. A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 11.5 years' experience is typical to be considered a SME level. The engineer must have extensive experience working with this Customer.
