Job Description:
Seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at CYBER Express Wash. In this key role, you will support the daily operations of the car wash, oversee a team of employees, and ensure that we deliver exceptional service to our customers. As Assistant Manager, you will help manage the car wash's business and operational aspects, ensuring quality control, customer satisfaction, and a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the car wash, including staff management, customer service, and facility maintenance
- Lead, train, and motivat a team of customer service attendants, ensuring high standards of performance and professionalism
- Ensure that the car wash is operating efficiently, safely, and according to all policies and procedures
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new team members
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure that equipment is well-maintained and operational
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the car wash facility, both inside and outside
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and managing labor costs
- Promote membership programs and upsell services to increase revenue
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to attract new customers
- Work with the management team to ensure that financial goals and KPIs are met
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and ensuring security procedures are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations of the business
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); College degree in business or related field (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the car wash, retail, or service industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of cash handling, POS systems, and basic financial operations
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks (e.g., cleaning, lifting)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
