What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Operations Clerk position at Cyber Power Systems?
The Warehouse Operations Clerk performs a variety of support functions for the company to ensure day-to-day operations function as seamlessly as possible. This position effectively communicates supporting company goals and objectives while promoting cooperation and commitment within the team. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of urgency, follow-through, confidentiality and ethical behavior.
This position reports to the Assistant Warehouse Manager and will interact on a regular basis with
administration, warehouse, information technology, management staff, and external vendors.
This position works cooperatively with others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Assistant Warehouse Manager with the order assembly process and inventory preparation for filling and shipping customer purchase orders and warehouse transfers.
Assists with picking orders and labeling cartons as directed.
Assist Assistant Warehouse Manager with inbound receiving paperwork as directed.
Provide general facility support services for CyberPower facility (Office and Warehouse).
Respond to all facility inquiries, generate work orders with corporate facilities.
Assist in performing general repairs as able that do not require a specialized technician, such as changing lightbulbs, replacing ceiling tiles.
Keeps general use spaces organized, clean, pleasantly arranged, and welcoming.
Manages the company kitchen and breakroom; ensures supplies are consistently stocked; orders and maintains inventory of breakroom supplies with corporate facilities.
Coordinates office supply process; fills requests in a timely manner; organizes and maintains office supply inventory.
Assist Corporate Facilities to manage assigned vendor relationships, including communicating proactively to address services, schedules, requests.
Assists Assistant Warehouse Manager on mid-year and year-end inventory.
Coordinate communication between various contractors/suppliers and staff.
Assist/lead special projects to ensure completion or smooth transition of duties if necessary.
Follows documented standard operating procedures (SOPs), recommends improvements in methods and procedures, and creates new SOPs as needed.
Attendance is an essential function of this position.
Work diplomatically and effectively across cross-functional teams.
Performing all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two years’ experience required working in an office/warehouse environment; 3-5 years facilities related support experience preferred.
Ability to use a computer and standard business and other work-related software with minimal instruction following provided SOPs.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment; versatile, flexible, creative, and willing to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm; innovative team player.
Demonstrated a proactive approach to supporting people, identifying, and completing projects, and solving problems with the ability to follow directions with a positive attitude with minimal supervision.
Ability to appropriately communicate professionally in writing and verbally with interpersonal communication skills to produce the desired results.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing these duties the person is regularly required to walk, stand, bend, climb stairs, kneel, or crouch and successfully demonstrate the ability to write or use a computer or other electronic devices and operate a variety of hand and power tools.
Employees in this position may need to regularly lift at least 5 lbs. and up to 30 pounds occasionally and may need to exert themselves while performing the above-mentioned duties.
Perform a variety of physical labor including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for long periods of time. Also includes being able to lift boxes, tools, equipment, and materials.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
