Automation Engineer II
NJ-Jersey City - Hybrid
Job Summary:
Automation Engineers are in charge for designing and executing automated test scripts and check framework enhancements, presenting process improvement suggestions and generating comprehensive documentation or manuals for the well-designed projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Testing applications for it's functionalities and performance.
Responsible for production cutover validation
Analyze the issues and report to the development team with relevant data.
Collaborate with cross functional team to attain the goal.
Devise specification and in depth documentation for their design.
Troubleshoot and remain up to date on current technologies
Build up and instigate advanced testing methodologies and makes use of a combination of testing techniques.
Work together with field group, contractors, consulting firms and retailers to pull off expected quality levels in merchandise.
Maintain a strong background in QA methodologies and best practices
Qualifications:
Degree in Automation, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline
Ability to program, configure, and wire automation equipment, related sensors and devices.
Experience in AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, EKS
Experince with Selenium , JMeter, CI/CD tools
Prior experience in Cloud migration
Familiarity with .Net Framework and .Net Core
Clear communication
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Newrelic, AWS cloud watch, Splunk
