Job Summary
We are looking for a hybrid QA/BA professional to join our dynamic team.
This role combines quality assurance and business analysis to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business needs.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, testing, and communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Create functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and system diagrams.
Conduct gap analysis to identify areas of improvement and provide solutions.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit and clarify requirements.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment.
Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by defining test criteria and supporting users during the testing process.
Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or equivalent.
Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and best practices.
Prepare and present testing reports and metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
6 years of combined experience in business analysis and quality assurance roles.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and testing practices.
Experience with QA tools (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, Postman) and business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Confluence).
Familiarity with SQL for data analysis and testing purposes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
Experience in API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Certification in ISTQB, CBAP, or equivalent is a plus.
