Drafter / Specifier
The Drefter/Specifier reports directly to the Design Manager and plays a pivotal role in accurately creating custom home technology solutions for projects in software such as AutoCAD, BlueBeam DTools and/or Q360. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer-aided design, excellent communication and collaboration skills and acute attention to detail.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Drefter/Specifier reports directly to the Design Manager and plays a pivotal role in accurately creating custom home technology solutions for projects in software such as AutoCAD, BlueBeam DTools and/or Q360. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer-aided design, excellent communication and collaboration skills and acute attention to detail.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports and contributes to the absolute highest level of service and care of our clients
- Proactively identifies new opportunities for improvement and/or clarity within the design process
- Works closely with the team to acknowledge and address inconsistencies or misses which would negatively impact productivity and Cyber Technology Group’s brand
- Builds strong relationships with employees through consistent, clear, kind communication
- Works in a professional and organized manner and is able to move between priorities
- Facilitates seamless communication between Sales and Design, translating Sales notes and plans into flawless design quotes, proposals and final solutions
- Creates drawings and visual proposals for home technology projects including but not limited to A/V, Network, Security, Light Shade, and Electric
- Working within AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Adobe, DTools, and Q360 softwares
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Strong understanding of the Home Technology/Electric industry, specifically luxury/custom homes
- CAD knowledge/experience
- Effective communication, collaboration, attention to detail, organization
