CyberArk is seeking a Principal Architect with a proven record of creating significant and lasting business value through strategic execution. Our Machine Identity Security team is responsible for building the Control Plane our cloud platform for securing machine identities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate broad knowledge of emerging / cutting edge cloud technologies and developments in and around machine identity management.
You will be able to take machine identity management and our Control Plane to the next level of capabilities scale and operational efficiency. You will influence and motivate groups to achieve longterm strategic goals together helping them see whats down the road (long term view) and what the implications are for them today. You will be one of the goto people when it comes to solving CyberArks most complex and difficult technical problems.
This is a hybrid role for either our Santa Clara Palo Alto or Salt Lake City Location
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product and Engineering leadership to set and achieve longterm strategic architecture and handle orders of magnitude growth in capabilities and scale.
- Actively participate in the planning and delivery of product features and improvements continuous exploration process architecture runway system level architecture and the definition of subsystems and their interactions.
- Explore new technologies patterns frameworks tools and services to deliver on our business needs.
- Collaborate with Product Management and UX to align the architecture runway with the product strategy and goals.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders architects and teams to define guidelines on languages frameworks services platforms tools and pipelines to use.
- Collaborate on feature design and implementation with development teams.
- Mentor team members.

The salary range for this position is $191000 / year $300000 / year plus discretionary bonus and equity which will be based on the employees performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical dental vision financial and other benefits.
