We are seeking a dynamic Building Controls Account Manager responsible for managing client accounts and driving growth in the building controls sector. This role focuses on developing relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency and energy performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of key client accounts in the building controls sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling building control solutions to existing clients.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and potential areas for growth.
- Lead negotiation efforts with clients to secure contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operations teams to deliver solutions that meet client expectations.
- Track performance metrics and report on account status and growth opportunities.
- Implement strategic plans to drive customer retention and revenue growth.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members and interns.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, preferably in the building controls or related industry.
- Strong client relationship management skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent negotiation and strategic planning abilities.
- Ability to perform market analysis and lead generation activities.
- Demonstrated success in customer retention and revenue growth initiatives.
- Strong team leadership skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with performance metrics and reporting.
- Building controls sector experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales or related field is preferred.
- Salary: $65-90K -- *Note: Range advertises base salary ONLY (does not factor in commissions)
