We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and providing insights into financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable and payable, reconciliations, and cost accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with GAAP standards
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes through accurate cost accounting
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of experience as an Accountant preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounts receivable and payable management
- Experience with reconciliations and cost accounting
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
