Position Overview
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial reporting and accounting functions of the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with GAAP, managing financial operations, and providing insights for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting team in managing day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Manage cash flow, vendor payments, receivables, and payables to maintain the financial health of the organization.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for budgeting and financial planning.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.
- Support tax preparation and compliance activities.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and ERP systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in cash management and financial analysis.
- Experience with vendor payments, receivables, and payables.
- Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Knowledge of financial systems and ERP software.
- Industry experience in oil, gas, or trucking is a plus.

Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
