The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and maintaining positive client relationships. This role is essential for supporting the financial health of our organization, particularly in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable ledger and ensure timely and accurate invoicing to clients.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and communicate with clients regarding payment status.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the billing and collections process specific to construction projects.
- Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications with clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relationships.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Competitive Salary based on experience: $60,000 - $90,000
