Key Responsibilities
- Manage facade restoration, waterproofing, and roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
- Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of building exteriors, facades, and roofs to evaluate conditions and recommend solutions.
- Prepare and review design plans, technical specifications, and project documentation in compliance with local codes and industry standards.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to develop effective repair and restoration strategies.
- Oversee project progress, addressing any challenges or discrepancies that arise during construction.
- Ensure compliance with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations, including FISP (Local Law 11) requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in architectural project management with a strong focus on facade restoration, waterproofing, and roof replacement projects.
- Proven expertise in building envelope investigations, forensic analysis, and material assessments.
- Familiarity with NYC building codes, FISP (Local Law 11), and other relevant regulations.
- Strong project management skills, including experience with budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and other design and project management software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and construction teams effectively.
- Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
