An established AmLaw 200 law firm with a state-wide presence is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its team in Marin County. This is an opportunity for an Associate with 3-6 years of public sector L&E experience to join a dynamic team led by experienced Partners, handling high-profile litigation, labor relations, and public-sector employment matters.
Offer
Salary: $120,000-$200,000 contingent on experience
Monthly productivity bonuses and end-of-year bonuses
Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance
Profit sharing (10% of total compensation)
Qualifications
3-6 years of experience in labor and employment law, litigation, or administrative hearings
Prior experience with public sector labor and employment law preferred
California Bar membership in good standing
Strong academic background from an accredited law school (e.g., UC Berkeley, UC Law San Francisco, UC Davis, or comparable)
Responsibilities
Assist in litigation, including drafting motions, responding to discovery, and participating in mediations and depositions
Provide legal advice and counsel to public agency clients on labor and employment matters
Support labor negotiations and union-related matters, including collective bargaining
Contribute to employment investigations, administrative hearings, and arbitration processes
Collaborate with senior attorneys to manage caseloads and complex legal issues
