Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Landlord and Tenant law to join our remote legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal representation and advice to clients in various landlord-tenant matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and effectively managing disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on landlord-tenant issues and related real estate laws.
- Draft legal documents, including leases, notices, and pleadings.
- Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings regarding landlord-tenant disputes.
- Advise clients on their rights and obligations under landlord-tenant law.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records of case activities and communications.
- Facilitate mediation sessions and assist in dispute resolution processes.
- Provide legal counsel on compliance issues related to property management and rental agreements.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active state bar license in good standing.
- At least 1 year of experience in landlord-tenant law or a related legal field.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution abilities.
- Experience with litigation and case management.
- Familiarity with real estate law and compliance issues.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
