An established law firm with over 70 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team in Chicago. The Associate will have 2-8 years of experience with personal injury, product liability, employment practices liability, and/or professional liability defense cases.
Offer
$110,000 - $160,000 contingent on experience

Qualifications
2-8 years of experience in litigation defense such as personal injury, product liability, employment practices liability, and/or professional liability cases
Courtroom and deposition experience required (trial experience is a plus)
Experience handling cases in both state and federal courts (approximately 15% federal caseload)
Illinois Bar in good standing
Juris Doctorate
Responsibilities
Managing a caseload of defense litigation matters, including personal injury, product liability, and employment practices liability cases
Defending professional liability claims involving attorneys, accountants, and insurance brokers
Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing motions
Taking and defending depositions
Representing clients in court hearings and proceedings
Advising clients on case strategies and risk management
Collaborating with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation matters
