Audit Manager

Position Overview

The Audit Manager will oversee the audit process for our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role involves leading audit teams, managing client relationships, and providing strategic recommendations to improve financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, including preparation and review of financial statements and audit reports
• Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information and ensure timely completion of audits
• Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements throughout audits
• Identify areas for process improvement and provide actionable recommendations to clients
• Prepare detailed audit plans and risk assessments based on client-specific needs
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in regulations affecting audits
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Active CPA certification is required
• Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and audit methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
