Key Responsibilities
- Perform audits of financial statements in accordance with auditing standards, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assess internal control systems and make recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, documenting findings and providing solutions to identified issues.
- Conduct risk assessments and determine areas of financial risk for clients.
- Provide clients with insights into their financial positions and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with senior management and other team members to deliver high-quality service.
- Stay updated on industry developments, financial regulations, and changes in accounting standards.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other financial reports when necessary.
- Communicate audit findings to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in audit or public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
