Position Overview
The Audit Senior will be responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, and providing guidance to junior staff members. The role requires a thorough understanding of financial reporting and internal controls, with a focus on risk assessment and SOX compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans accordingly.
- Evaluate internal controls and perform substantive testing to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare financial reports and communicate findings to management.
- Mentor and train junior audit staff to foster their professional development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations related to financial reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with the tax department to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Document audit procedures and findings clearly and concisely.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of SOX, GAAP, and internal controls.
- Excellent financial analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated team leadership and management capabilities.

Salary : $80,000 - $105,000
