Position Overview
The Audit Senior is responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing valuable insights to clients. This position requires a deep understanding of auditing principles and practices to effectively manage audit processes and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, including performing fieldwork and managing client relationships.
- Review and evaluate internal controls and compliance procedures to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Prepare financial statements and audit reports in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support in audit processes.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance related field.
- 2 years of experience in auditing, preferably with a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
- Experience working with Not For Profit organizations and A-133 compliance is a plus.
