Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day execution of audit engagements, from planning through completion.
- Supervise and review the work of audit associates and seniors, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive communication and tailored solutions.
- Conduct technical research and advise on complex accounting issues, including GAAP and SEC compliance.
- Support team members through mentoring, coaching, and on-the-job training.
- CPA license required (or significant progress towards completion).
- 5 years of audit experience in public accounting, preferably with financial services clients.
- Strong technical expertise in GAAP, auditing standards, and financial reporting.
- Experience with hedge funds, private equity, or similar sectors is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
