The BAS Controls Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Building Automation Systems (BAS) to optimize the performance and efficiency of HVAC systems. This role involves troubleshooting, testing, and programming control systems to ensure seamless operation and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement BAS solutions for HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BAS controls and HVAC equipment.
- Program and configure control systems to meet project specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on BAS and HVAC systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and installation teams to ensure effective integration of automation solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and team members regarding BAS operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in building automation systems and HVAC controls.
- Strong understanding of control systems programming and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with HVAC principles and energy management strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
