We are seeking a skilled BIM CAD Designer to join our team, focusing on airport infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings that facilitate the development and construction of airport facilities, ensuring compliance with FAA and LaDOTD standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare detailed CAD drawings and BIM models for airport infrastructure projects including runways, taxiways, and access roads.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Civil3D software to create and modify engineering drawings, plans, and schematics.
- Participate in site development planning and execution, focusing on airport construction and infrastructure improvements.
- Ensure all designs align with FAA regulations and LaDOTD guidelines for airport construction and operation.
- Conduct quality control checks on drawings and models to maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the design process.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports related to design and construction activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience in CAD and BIM design, specifically within airport infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
- Knowledge of FAA and LaDOTD design standards and regulations.
- Experience with site development and airport design principles.
- Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings, plans, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
