What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial transactions.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis to provide financial insights.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and industry standards.
- Maintain prepaid, accrued expense schedules, and fixed asset records.
- Work closely with management on special projects and financial planning.
- 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in bookkeeping or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Business Works, or similar) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
