Job Title: Bookkeeper- Client Accounting Services

Location: Louisville, KY

Position Overview

We are a thriving boutique Public Accounting firm currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our Client Accounting Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and invoicing for our diverse client base, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process payroll for multiple clients and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
• Prepare and send invoices to clients, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed.
• Support clients with inquiries related to their accounts and provide exceptional client service.
• Maintain organized documentation and records for all transactions.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure adherence to GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a relevant accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and GAAP principles and practices.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Experience with payroll processing and invoicing. Experience monitoring Section 125 plans, 401(k) plans, medical insurance plans related to financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members.
