Position Overview
The Assistant Director of Operations will support the overall management and execution of operational tasks within the organization. This role focuses on ensuring the efficient functioning of building operations, maintenance processes, and capital improvement projects, contributing to the enhancement of resident satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 40 handymen
- Ability to assist in apartment repairs for residential properties
- Oversee maintenance and repair services for residential properties to ensure high standards of living.
- Manage capital improvement projects from planning to execution, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Conduct regular apartment inspections to maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to optimize building operations and improve efficiency.
- Supervise and train maintenance staff, ensuring that team members are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building operations or facilities management.
- Experience with Large Residential Buildings (500 Units)
- Experience with Steam Boiler Systems is a Huge Plus
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and capital improvement processes.
- Experience with boiler systems and apartment inspection protocols.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
