The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and surveyors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed CAD drawings for civil engineering and land surveying projects
- Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to gather project requirements and specifications
- Review and revise drawings to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and AutoDesk to produce high-quality engineering designs
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports
- Conduct field surveys and incorporate data into CAD drawings as needed
- 1 year of experience with engineering design in a civil/survey environment
- Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoDesk, ArcGIS, ArcMap, etc
- Strong understanding of civil engineering and surveying principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- College degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field is preferred
- EIT or LSIT certification is a huge plus
