Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for the financial strategy and overall financial management of the company. This role involves overseeing the finance department, managing financial risks, and ensuring the company's financial health while supporting strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the financial planning and analysis process, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting.
- Manage the finance team's day-to-day operations and provide leadership to foster a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax and auditing requirements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to the executive team for strategic decision-making.
- Manage investor relations and communicate financial performance to stakeholders.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial management position, ideally within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- Experience with financial software and tools, as well as budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
