Civil Construction Project Manager

Location: Niles, MI (and surrounding areas)

Salary: $95K-$125K (negotiable based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Construction Project Manager to oversee and lead our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Manage project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure effective project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to address concerns and provide updates.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to overcome challenges.
• Prepare and present project proposals and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus
• 3 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction, with a strong portfolio of Municipal/Earthwork.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and project management software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Familiarity with heavy civil and commercial construction projects is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
