This position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to manage projects effectively from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
- Perform site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Strong knowledge of civil design engineering principles and practices.
- Experience in transportation engineering, water engineering, and utility engineering is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in engineering design software and project management tools.
