In this role your day to day duties will include:
- Operate, maintain, and clean CNC machines, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
- Lead and supervise your team to meet our goals for customer satisfaction, productivity, and on-time delivery.
- Report any issues or notable events to management.
- Safely operate cranes and fork trucks, and apply safe rigging practices.
- Use precision tools like tape measures, micrometers, nibblers, and calipers.
- Keep your work area clean and organized throughout the day.
- Train other team members as needed.
- Follow all safety rules, regulations, and quality standards, and make sure your team does too.
- High school diploma or equivalent, ideally with at least two years of experience operating precision manufacturing machines/equipment.
- Intermediate or higher experience with CNC tool and equipment operations.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Good communication skills, Math, Processing and interpersonal skills, and documentation skills, along with basic math and computer abilities.
- Ability to work with hand tools, calipers, quality control evaluation tools
- Ability to work independently and follow directions.
- Experience in the metals industry is a plus.
- Those with direct CNC routers setup/operations and any CNC programming with Mastercam, will be given priority consideration.
