The Commercial Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while adhering to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Lead and coordinate the efforts of project team members and third-party contractors or consultants.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders throughout the project.
- Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting schedules and plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards on the construction site.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost control and forecasting.
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control throughout the construction process.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality assurance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- OSHA certification preferred; OSHA 30 Hour certification a plus.
- Experience with mission critical projects such as data centers, telecommunications (or similar) and architectural elements is highly preferred.
