Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial roofing projects based on blueprints and specifications.
- Conduct material takeoffs and cost analysis to ensure accurate pricing.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand project requirements and provide exceptional service.
- Analyze bids and contracts to ensure compliance with building codes and company policies.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients to secure profitable projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and competitive pricing strategies.
- Proven experience in sales estimation within the commercial roofing industry.
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and commercial construction processes.
- Excellent knowledge of building codes and regulations associated with roofing.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
- Demonstrated skills in cost analysis and financial evaluation of projects.
- Exceptional client relation skills with the ability to negotiate contracts effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous experience as an estimator or in a similar role is preferred.
