Position Overview
The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects. This position involves collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project delivery, maintaining safety standards, and managing project schedules and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop project plans and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards on-site.
- Utilize scheduling programs to monitor project timelines and report progress.
- Manage documentation using Procore, Bluebeam, and PlanSwift.
- Assist in the preconstruction phase, including the Invitation to Bid process and preparation of AVE Logs.
- Create and maintain an Action Item Matrix to track project tasks and responsibilities.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address any issues that arise during construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction management or related field.
- Strong field experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- At least 1 year in previous field or construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Familiarity with scheduling programs and project management software, including Procore, Bluebeam, and PlanSwift.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
