Director of Safety and Training

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Safety and Training to oversee and manage our safety programs in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing safety procedures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for our construction sites
• Provide guidance and support to construction teams regarding safety protocols and regulations
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with state and federal safety regulations, including OSHA, CalOSHA, and DOT
• Manage safety training programs for employees and contractors, including Flagger, TCS, Traffic Control, TCT, and SMART training
• Monitor safety performance and maintain safety KPIs to track progress
• Collaborate with Human Resources to investigate and report accidents and incidents, and develop plans to prevent future occurrences
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Safety Management or related field
• 5 years of experience in a Director-level safety role with ATSSA certifications (Flagger, TCT, TCS) preferred.

Job Title: Commercial Roofing Sales Representative

Location: Akron, OH, Cleveland, OH Columbus, OH or or surrounding areas

Salary: $50K -$70K Commission $150K OTE

Requirements: - 1 years Construction Sales or Commercial Roofing Sales experience, Commercial Roofing Service
