Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects in the light industrial and commercial sectors across the Raleigh, Durham area . The ideal candidate will manage the daily operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a strong focus on worksite safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet quality standards and timelines.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and laborers on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates on project progress.
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and safety records.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- 5 Years' experience as a Superintendent in light industrial and/or retail commercial construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management.
- Experience working on retail centers, strip malls, distribution centers, supermarkets, and big box stores.
- On-site experience working with tilt-up walls.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the local area to various project sites as needed.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- $90,000 - $115,000 base salary
