Position Overview
The Wastewater Pump Station Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of wastewater pump stations and related facilities. This role ensures efficient and compliant wastewater management, supervises staff, and coordinates construction and maintenance projects to support water infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the construction of water/wastewater pump stations to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Supervise and train staff on maintenance and operational procedures related to wastewater treatment facilities.
- Coordinate construction projects related to pump station upgrades and repairs, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of pump stations and underground utilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to plan and execute water infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, budgets, and documentation related to pump station activities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in water treatment or water infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Experience with wastewater treatment facilities and/or underground utilities.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Competitive Salary Based on Experience: $80,000 - $130,000
