What You Will Be Doing
- Attend pre-construction and construction meetings, noting potential issues and consulting with the Project Manager.
- Review job schedules and cost breakdowns, resolving discrepancies with the Project Manager at project inception.
- Ensure all site foremen are qualified and effectively executing assigned duties.
- Set up job offices and equipment trailers, ensuring proper posting of permits, labor notices, and safety regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with inspectors, architects, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders.
- Enforce safety regulations for company and subcontractor crews, conducting regular safety meetings.
- 6 years of related experience in construction, experience with education projects preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and plans
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and Microsoft Project
