Position Overview
The Controller (Construction) will oversee the financial operations of our construction projects, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with financial regulations. This role is essential in managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the financial operations of construction projects
- Ensure accurate job costing and WIP (Work in Progress) reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including revenue recognition and cash flow statements
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Maintain the general ledger and fixed asset accounting
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for construction projects
- Provide strategic financial guidance to project managers and senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficient in job costing, WIP, and financial reporting
- Experience with general ledger accounting and fixed assets management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
