Position Overview
The Controller will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and managing financial reporting for our multi-divisional and multi-company structure. This position is critical for maintaining internal controls and supporting the financial strategy of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the accounting team and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
- Coordinate the budgeting process and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant taxation regulations.
- Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
- Manage cash flow and financial risk assessment for multiple divisions.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar position in a multi-company environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and taxation practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of internal controls and financial compliance.
