We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer with a focus on automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for our processes, ensuring optimal performance and safety in operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for automation applications.
- Create and interpret P&ID diagrams and wiring schematics.
- Develop and maintain Bill of Materials for control systems projects.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, primarily using Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to optimize performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with NEC and UL standards in all electrical systems and designs.
- Utilize software tools like Inventor, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD for design purposes.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Control Engineer or Automation Engineer
- Strong knowledge of control systems, PLC programming, and HMI design.
- Familiarity with Siemens Simatic, TIA Portal, and motion controls.
- Strong Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Inventor
