The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with process engineers and operators to ensure that control systems meet production requirements and improve overall productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with process engineering teams to optimize production efficiency
- Implement and maintain PLC programming for automated control devices
- Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve control issues
- Create and review control system design documentation using AutoCAD
- Integrate SCADA systems for enhanced operational visibility and control
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in control system design
- Participate in machine design projects and support the integration of control systems for new equipment
- Conduct training for operators and maintenance teams on control systems
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Controls Engineer, preferably in a process engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and control devices
- Familiarity with control system design principles
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Proficient in using AutoCAD for design purposes
- Experience with SCADA systems
- Understanding of composite materials and prepreg processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
