Summary
- Designs, tests, installs and maintains conveyor for use in material handling applications.
- Produces detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, site surveys, schedules and other related materials
- Uses electrical engineering tools, such as computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment, to carry out responsibilities
- Knowledge of Rockwell PLC and distributed I/O networking highly preferred but not required; willing to train the right person with relevant experience
- Knowledge COTS HMI user interface programming software
- Knowledge of .NET (C#, Visual Basic, C ), Java (Core and Android) desired but not required.
- Prior exposure or familiarity with manufacturing and production environments highly preferred; relevant co-op or internships will be considered
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Good organizational, planning and time management skills
- Must be open-minded and have initiative to learn and take on new tasks; career growth opportunities for the right minded individual
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
- Associates Degree or equivalent technical/vocational training preferred
- Travel within the US can be up to ~40%
