We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for our automation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with various control systems and software. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems using HMI, PLC, and SCADA technologies.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems with mechanical components.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for control system issues.
- Create and review electrical schematics and control system designs.
- Implement and maintain monitoring systems for automation processes.
- Conduct equipment placement and wiring layouts for various projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Utilize software tools like AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, and Inventor for design work.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in automation and robotics.
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Beckhoff control systems.
- Experience with HMI software such as Factory Talk, RS View, and WinCC.
- Proficient in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD Electrical and SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and device placement.
- Experience with industrial robots from brands like Fanuc and Motoman.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
