About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to oversee daily accounting operations and implement financial management strategies that support our rapid growth. This role will focus on reporting accuracy, process improvements, and best practices across our expanding team. You'll lead a team of accounting professionals, manage audits, and play a key role in supporting M&A activity.
Key Responsibilities
This position is primarily based in our Monona, WI office, with remote work available on Fridays. Flexibility for extended hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required during peak periods.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to oversee daily accounting operations and implement financial management strategies that support our rapid growth. This role will focus on reporting accuracy, process improvements, and best practices across our expanding team. You'll lead a team of accounting professionals, manage audits, and play a key role in supporting M&A activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and verify monthly financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP principles
- Manage annual external audits and lender compliance documentation
- Support M&A due diligence and special projects
- Oversee AP functions, including invoicing, disbursements, and tax compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams on annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Lead process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, ensuring deadlines are met and promoting professional growth
- CPA required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting leadership roles within multi-entity organizations
- Strong understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations
- Proven experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Highly skilled in data analysis, forecasting, and financial processes
- Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with advanced written communication abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Deep experience managing ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred)
- Experience integrating third-party AP automation, PO processing modules, and FP&A tools
- Accounting Systems: Sage Intacct
- Additional Tools: Paychex, lease software, Excel, and customized applications
