Position Overview
The Accounting Manager will oversee and manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting principles. This role involves supervising accounting staff, managing the budget, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards while also providing insights on financial performance to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage cost accounting processes to provide insights on cost management and profitability.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements.
- Coordinate and support audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
- Monitor inventory management processes to ensure accurate financial representation of inventory.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with GAAP and accounting management practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting is a plus.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
