We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Embedded Systems Engineering to lead our team in the design and development of innovative embedded systems. This role involves overseeing projects related to high voltage X-ray systems, power conversion, and power electronics, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the embedded systems engineering team to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of embedded systems for high voltage X-ray applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineering, product development, and manufacturing to drive project success.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all engineering processes and products.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Guide the development of power conversion and power electronics solutions for various applications.
- Review and approve technical documentation, designs, and project plans.
- Oversight of all firmware and software design for sophisticated high voltage power supplies (HVPS). This includes languages such as C, Verilog, VHDL, Assembly, C#, VB6, Java, and WPF, as well as firmware development based on RTOS.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in embedded systems engineering
- Proven track record in high voltage X-ray systems and power electronics design.
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
- Experience in product development from concept to production.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
