Director of Analytics

Position Overview

The Director of Analytics will lead the analytics team in leveraging data to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making and enhance business performance across sales, operations, and marketing. This role involves overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting processes while ensuring the application of best practices in data modeling and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analytics team to deliver actionable insights through data analysis and reporting.
• Develop and implement data strategies that align with business objectives.
• Manage and oversee data collection, processing, and analysis using SQL, Python, and various BI tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and provide tailored solutions using Tableau, PowerBI, and/or Looker.
• Drive the development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytics processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends in analytics, AI, and machine learning to keep the organization at the forefront of data-driven decision making.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior analytics role, preferably as a Manager, Director or similar position.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
• Demonstrated experience in data modeling and business intelligence best practices.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and their applications in business analytics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
