The Director of Quality and Sanitation will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and sanitation operations within the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance and sanitation programs to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and internal standards.
- Lead and manage a team of quality and sanitation professionals, providing training, development, and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to evaluate compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards including FDA, AIB, USDA, and HACCP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions that enhance quality and sanitation practices.
- Develop documentation and reports related to quality control, sanitation processes, and compliance to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
- Manage risk assessment activities and establish protocols to mitigate potential quality and safety risks in production processes.
- Oversee the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and sanitation efficiencies.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices, ensuring the organization adapts to changes in regulations and technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance and sanitation within the food industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (FDA, AIB, USDA, HACCP, BRCGS, RSPO, FIDSMA).
- Proven experience in managing teams and leading cross-functional collaboration to achieve quality objectives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement effective quality and sanitation strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
