Division Leader - Land Development

Position Overview

We are a highly awarded company in the Engineering space with large projects across multiple verticals across the US. The Division Leader for Land Development will oversee the planning, design, and execution of land development projects. This role is crucial in guiding project teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving business growth within the division. The leader will be responsible for strategic decision-making and fostering client relationships to enhance company presence in the land development sector.

This role will include Oversight of all Civil Engineering/Land Development projects, Team Leadership, and Business Development/Growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the land development division, ensuring successful project delivery from conceptualization to completion.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth and project acquisition in land development.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure projects are designed and executed in accordance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and enhance business opportunities.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed within scope and on time.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers and engineering staff to foster professional development within the team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in land development and site development projects.
• Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices related to land development.
• Excellent business development skills with the ability to identify and pursue new project opportunities.
